Gear Trasher cover: a man in janitor coveralls holds a disintegrating sword before a stone golem and a glowing portal

Gear Trasher

I’m the trash guy.

You know, the one who prowls creepy office buildings at night. That’s why I ended up in the basement, staring at an archway of rippling light.

Next thing I know, I’m yanked through a portal, party-crashing a mission to a world of stone rooms and buglike monsters.

So if I’m doomed to be here, I want something simple. A [Class] with a sword…or maybe a bow.

I get [Gear Trasher] instead. And apparently that means I can’t hold standard weapons, only destroy them for a buff—one that might last a few minutes or a few seconds.

The portal back to Earth is on a countdown.
Five people are annoyed that I party-crashed their mission.
And here I am, about as useful as my empty inventory.

If I want to survive long enough to get home, I need to snag whatever junk I can find.

Time to break some loot.

Necroborn

FFIX Vivi, if he had necromancy instead of elemental magic.

Sevorn can feel things dying.

Decay creeps into the village from the forest. It rots crops, twists beasts, and gets the faithful whispering, especially about the strange boy who stumbled into their quiet village when the trouble began.

Sevorn's only gift is the ability to sense the rot and drain life. Now the village fears him as much as the forest.

He can't raise the dead. He can't command armies. He barely understands what he's becoming.

But if decay is spreading, someone has to face it.
